Google SEO

If you are reading this, then you obviously care about getting better placement in Google. With more than 70% of searches occurring at Google, it’s one search engine you cannot ignore. But before we go on, let’s look at the second word in the title: SEO. What is SEO? In the simplest terms, SEO, stands for Search Engine Optimization. But what does that really mean? SEO is the art of ensuring your page is clear and easy for a page to get read by search engines. In this case, Google SEO is the art making your site/ web pages, searchable for Google and to get better ranking (hopefully) in Google’s Index.

We want to make it simple and clear. There are no magic formula’s to get into Google. You should NEVER pay for anyone claiming to have the ultimate tricks for Google SEO or guaranteed solution. Google has an algorithm with over 100 secret criteria, which Google changes frequently. Nevertheless, there are ways to be successful using SEO in Google, which we are happy to share right now for free. Consider the below a simple Google SEO 101 checklist. While we cannot promise this listing as foolproof, it will work a lot better than random guessing.

1) The first key to Google SEO are wisley chosen meta tags, concise keywords and a well written description in the head tags of your pages.

2)The other key to Google SEO are relevant page titles, and a url/page name relevant to the topic.

3)The most important part of Google SEO are links on your page to relevant content, and links to you from relevant sources. Avoid link farms, link lists or paid links and independent directories with little page rank.

4) Time is a key factor. Older domains do better than newer domains. But you must also realize it takes time for Google’s Googlebot to come to your page. So patience is essential.

5) Last but not least, the important Google SEO tip is ensuring good relevant content on your pages. So don’t talk about Pizza, or have links on a page ab out Pizza if you are trying to place in Google for Weddings.

Following the above tips for Google SEO, above, should work for any search engine you want. Should you require any implementation of the above we are more than happy to help, just contact Mark8t E-Marketing Solutions today.

N.B. is not associated with Google, but we have some ideas for Google SEO.
